What Tara is not
- A qualified teacher or a substitute for school
- A tutor, a coaching class, or exam preparation
- A marking, grading or assessment service
- A guarantee of any grade or academic outcome
- A childminding or supervision service

The AI can be wrong
Tara’s replies are produced by a large language model. That has specific, known failure modes and we would rather name them than hide them:
- It can state something incorrect with full confidence. A wrong method sounds exactly like a right one.
- It can misread a scan. Handwriting, faint pencil, diagrams, and multi-column pages are all read imperfectly. A misread digit changes the whole question.
- It does not know your child’s syllabus. Methods may differ from the one their teacher taught. The teacher is right, not Tara.
- It can be inconsistent. The same question asked twice may be explained two different ways.
Treat Tara the way you would treat help from a willing older sibling: useful, well-intentioned, and worth checking.
On purpose, it will not answer
Tara is built to withhold final answers and ask a guiding question instead. This is a deliberate design choice, not a fault. If your child reports that “it won’t tell me,” the product is working.

Nothing on this site is a promise of improved marks, ranks, or exam performance. Any parent comments we publish are individual experiences and are not typical outcomes, predictions, or guarantees.
