Why we need your consent
Everyone using the child experience is under 18. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 requires us to obtain verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian before processing a child’s personal data. Until that consent is recorded, no child profile can be used.
How we verify you
- You register with your own email address and mobile number.
- We confirm both with a one-time code.
- You confirm you are the parent or lawful guardian of the child you are adding.
- We record what you agreed to and the date and time, and email you a copy.
We ask for the least information that lets us confirm an adult is present. We do not ask you to upload identity documents.
What you are agreeing to
- Creating a profile for your child holding a first name or nickname, grade, board and language
- Storing photographs of homework your child scans, and the text read from them
- Storing conversations between your child and the AI tutor so you can review them
- Recording progress: items completed, stars earned, time spent
- Sending you the reminders and summaries you have switched on
You are notagreeing to advertising, profiling, or any sharing of your child’s data for someone else’s purposes. We do not do those things and cannot enable them.
Your rights
See everything
The parent dashboard shows every homework item, every scan and every conversation, including messages that were blocked.
Get a copy
Request an export from Settings → Download my data and we will send a machine-readable file within 7 days.
Correct it
You can edit your child’s name, grade, board and language at any time in the dashboard.
Delete it
You can delete an individual scan or conversation immediately, or delete the whole account. Account deletion removes personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax or legal reasons.
Withdraw consent
You can withdraw consent at any time from Settings → Withdraw consent. The child profile is disabled immediately and its data is deleted within 30 days. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing that already, lawfully, took place.
More than one child
Each child needs a separate profile and a separate consent record, so that you can exercise these rights for one child without affecting another.
When your child turns 18
We will contact you before the profile’s eighteenth birthday. At that point the account either transfers to your child as an adult user, with their own agreement, or is closed.
If you are not satisfied
